Research Materials

I just wanted to let all of you know that the library does have several hard-copy sources for the literary analysis. These are located upstairs in the 800's section of the reference collection. They will not show up in the catalog if you do a search for Graham Greene or The Heart of the Matter, so they can be hard to find. If you come into the library while I'm working, I can point them out to you.

Thanks, Karen--

I am looking forward to class, everyone! I am excited to hear your discussion about the conclusion to Graham Greene. I also would like to talk with each of you about your thesis statements. Be sure to have a carefully constructed one with you this evening.

Hello, everyone.

I won't be in class tonight because I have responsibilities at the Seminary's Global Missions Conference.

As I was doing some searching I came across a reference to Graham Greene's comments on The Heart of the Matter in his second autobiography titled Ways of Escape, pp. 99-102. The Abington Community Library has a copy of this book that is shown as being in as I type. These comments could provide insight into authorial intent.
